Scope and boundaries

What we deliberately exclude

A programme this specific needs firm edges. Here is what falls outside every session we run, and the reasoning behind keeping it that way.

01

Equipment sales or manufacturer partnerships

We do not sell drones, sensors, tractors, or software licences, and no presenter is compensated by a hardware or software vendor for appearing in a session. If a specific product is mentioned, it is mentioned as an example, not a recommendation.

02

Personalised agronomic diagnosis

We describe what imaging and sensor data generally show across a category of crop or soil type. We do not review a specific field, soil sample, or yield map and tell an individual grower what action to take on it.

03

Legal or financial guidance on subsidy applications

SZIF documentation is discussed strictly as it is publicly published. We do not complete applications on anyone's behalf, calculate eligible amounts, or represent applicants before the agency in any formal capacity.

04

Installation, calibration or on-site support

Sessions are educational and delivered remotely. Configuring a sensor network, setting a drone flight plan, or calibrating instruments on a particular piece of land sits outside what a monthly webinar can responsibly cover.

05

Brand rankings or comparative endorsements

When more than one product or platform is mentioned within a session, each is described by category and by its own public documentation. We avoid ranking products against one another or implying that one option outperforms the rest, since that kind of comparison depends heavily on a farm's specific conditions.

Where questions actually go

If a question falls outside these lines

We will usually say so directly during a session. Rather than guessing, we tend to point toward a more appropriate resource, often a regional SZIF advisory office, a university extension programme, or a licensed agronomist who can look at a specific field in context.

Keeping these boundaries in place is part of why the programme has stayed manageable to run every month without stretching thin into services it was never built to provide. It also keeps the content itself steady and comparable across sessions, since nothing here depends on selling a particular outcome.
